“Women of Worth, Women of Worship & Women of Witness” (Isaiah 43:1-7) is the theme for the 2015 Women’s Day Celebration at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church. This will be another power-packed weekend, beginning with Girls’ Night Out for the young gems ages 11 to 21 at 6 p.m. Friday, March 20. Our 2nd Annual Prayer Breakfast follows at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 21st, at the Better Community Development, Inc. Empowerment Center, 3604 W. 12th Street, Little Rock. Minister Shonte’ Foster of Full Counsel Ministries in North Little Rock will bring the message. Tickets are $20; contact the church office to reserve your seat.

Our celebration culminates on March 22nd with Sunday morning worship. The speaker for the 8:00 a.m. service is our own Dr. Narcissus S. Tyler, B.S.E; M.Ed.; Ed.D., currently a Chaplain for Pastoral Ministry in Community of Hope for the Episcopal Diocese of Arkansas and Founder and CEO of educational consulting firm OMAR Corporation. At the 10:40 a.m. service Pastor Sheree’ Holmes, who serves as Pastor of Youth & Young Adults at St. Luke Baptist Church in North Little Rock, will be the guest preacher.
